The Frank model for spontaneous chiral stereoselection is extended to allow
for racemization between the enantiomers. As a consequence of this, depending
on how fast the racemization is relative to the autocatalytic formation of
enantiomers, the time-evolution of the system considered may results either
in a monochiral state or in a racemic steady-state.
